“By entering your IMEI no. in your devreg.iot.t-mobile.nl portal, you registered the IMEI in your own application on our IoT-network. Hence, there is a double registration right now so no one is able to receive the data.”Klopt dit en is er een ander alternatief?

RE: Minimal set of specifications of the NB-IoT network
@felixdonkers said in Minimal set of specifications of the NB-IoT network:
nless stated otherwise, all data transfers shall be:
with minimum delay, at least within 3GPP NB-IOT spec
at hSome suggestions to add:
- clarity on 3GPP release version that is formally implemented and forecast for new releases
- best practice suggestions regarding settings related to security and low energy
- formal supported & tested chipsets (or boards)
What would be nice:
- section with IoT products and solutions from partners that work with NB-IoT (gateways, specific sensor solutions, modules with MCU, comm. module en security IC/secure element & libraries to enable fast solution development in C or Python or …)
- guidance for large deployments and use with leading cloud solutions like MS Azure and AWS
- eSIM support

We’re starting NB-IoT tests with carriers in one week (mid January) and will keep everyone posted.
It is a priority and we hope to deliver a working version in February with one large carrier in Europe, but not all geographies will be supported initially as NB-IoT differs in implementations.
If you could let me know your country/carrier of interest it would be helpful.jmarcelino 13 dagen geleden @LS
@ls We are supporting Vodafone across Europe, however Vodafone Spain is a using Huawei which - as much as we’d like to - we won’t be able to support with the first firmware releases.pmb_nl 3 dagen geleden @jmarcelino
@jmarcelino Can you also answer the same question for The Netherlands? I bought the board to testdrive both NB-IoT and LTE-M. T-Mobile was the first that has NB-IoT running so I would like to use the FiPy with their network. They also have a nice technical group & community that possible is willing to assist with the test of using the FiPy. -
RE: FiPy
@felixdonkers I also bought the product but the firmware for the NB-IoT is missing as BoRRoZ mentioned.
It would be interesting if Pycom (mostly Dutch company) could hookup with the T-Mobile team and this group to assist in first testing. With Pycom and Sodaq you cover both the Arduino and (micro)Python community.Best regards,
Peter

3GPP Release 14 support
I heard that a couple of improvements, including lower battery consumption, are part of the 3GPP release 14.
Did I understand correctly? If so:- What are T-Mobile’s timelines on this release?
- If current boards are bought with formal support for Release 13, can they be upgraded if the manufacturer delivers new firmware or are these changes also hardware related so new hardware is needed?
Best regards,
Peter
