I’ve bought a Kingpigeon S150.
This device will send SMS warnings when certain conditions NO or NC are met.
I’ve ordered the start pack from TMnL IoT, and recieved 3 SIM cards.

My question what do I have to configure to receive the SMS.
I can’t find anywhere how to register sim cards or even create a project.

Is this even possible?

Does anyone have any experience with the King Pigeon products?

Thanks from a complete noob at IoT

Our typical user is often someone who is creating an IoT device from scratch. And our documentation is also based on this user journey. So don’t worry, I get why it is complex.

Do you have some information and specification about your device? Google did not really help me.

I’ve made some screenshots of the manual.

)

The first one is of the configuration software
The second one are the specs (more or less).

Hope this helps you.
I’ve asked the manufacturer and he said it needs to be a 4G network simcard.

Is the simcard capable of sending SMS messages over 4G

The simcard is not able to send and receive SMS.

Besides that, the simcard only supports NB-IoT. I am not sure if your device is able to support NB-IoT. I don’t see it coming back in tje screenshots. Can you confirm that it supports NB-IoT?

The vendor suggested using a normal prepaid simcard.
I will try this within a few days, first have to get one.

Thanks a lot for your help.
I will let you know if it works with a normal sim.

This is only for business not for consumers.
You even need to agree your are a business and not a consumer. Thanks for the thought but I’m a consumer.
Will try a T-mobile NL prepaid card.

Ah that’s a shame :-(

Good luck with finding solution.
