      Hello,

      I’m trying to connect my particle boron to the particle network using this guide: https://community.particle.io/t/howto-nb-iot-with-boron-lte-in-germany-telekom/52354/15

      So far without success. Could there be something hindering the connection to the particle network?

      When I do AT+COPS=1,2,“20416” it returns a timeout. What could be the reason?

      I would like some advice.

        @tibor-casteleijn

        I think that the Particle Boron only supports LTE-M and not NB-IoT…

          @afzal_m Particle Boron is based of SARA-R4 series Size-optimized LTE Cat M1 / NB1 / GPRS modules. They seem to be working in Germany so I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work in the Netherlands.

            Ok, thanks for clarifying!

            Did you already try to set-up the AT+COPS values in a way that it will automatically select the PLMN ID (20416)?

              Hi @tibor-casteleijn, I have a question regarding the SIM card you are using. Is this a SIM card provided by particle? Or did you also obtained it from our webshop? A particle SIM card might not be able to roam on our NB-IOT network yet.
              A second thing if you are using our sim card the first connection might take up to 15 minutes, can you stretch the time-out for this initial connection? Next connections are faster but the initial one can take a while.
