    • RE: SIM card - IMSI used?

      Thanks Afzal,

Do I understand correct that if you have an account only the registered IMEIs are costs-charged? So e.g. :

      • Somebody steals my SIM cards,

      • I deregister the related IMEIs in our account and we are no longer charged once deregistered

      • The thiefs could re-use the SIM card in their own TMO account and be charged for usage ๐Ÿ™‚
(and in the end we only need to get some new SIMs?)

      Is that how it works?

    • NB-IoT bands in the Netherlands

      Hi,

We normally use band 8 to connect to TMO NB-IoT network.
However I am curious which other bands are supported for NB-IoT devices.

      For 4G (T-mobile) I see band 1,3, 8 and 20. Check the following link:

      https://antennekaart.nl/kaart/4g?lat=52.20915826&lng=5.95579147&zoom=14&providers=t-mobile

However simple test shows that we can only connect to band 8. Is that the only band in NL for now?

      Thnx

    • RE: SARA-N310 roaming

Using manual PLMN selection works if you know in which country your device is (or will be). Otherwise I do not see the benefit of manually selecting the PLMN. And afaik when using AT+COPS you can not set multiple PLMNs

@Uta / @Florian-Duecker - Would it not be possible to have a list of preferred PLMNs stored on the SIM card.

    • Registration when there is no network

      Hi all,

Scanning network, frequencybands before you can register is a process that can consume quite some energy.

In the Netherlands we got good coverage, but that is not the same all over the world. I am looking for a way to reduce energy waisted - e.g. by using special AT commands or algorithmes that reduce the energy used to get registered.

Worst case is that my device, in the middle of nowhere, keeps looking for a network if it is not there,

      Thnx

    • RE: SIM8262E-M2 No Service!

@Peter0238 how long have you waited. For a first registration you might require 30 minutes.

And reduce the number of frequency bands allowed could also speed up the registration

      @Roberto4218

Did you find the software tool? If not send me a DM

Out of interest - what was your issue with respect to the transparent mode (AT+CIPMODE=1) in the firmware prior to firmware 6.

      Rgds,

    • SIM7022

      Hi,

I am working with the SIM7022 and the Release Assistance Indicator basics work fine. When I send an uplink message with a RAI the PSM goes into effect quick.

However after having sent the uplink data I would like to check if any data is queued in the network.
How to combine an uplink with RAI in combination with potential downlink data which might be waiting?

      Any experience?

@magnatron Sorry for the late reply. I just created IMEI / UDP device and it worked again.

I removed the IMEI from IoTcreators and registered the device again.
Now UDP packets are received at IoTCreators again

Something seem to have gone wrong at IoT Creators

    • UDP payload - only sometimes

      Hi,

I experience that my UDP payload is not or only sometimes getting thru. I see the following

      • Socket is well established
      • IP history from the device is known (see below)
      • UDP payload however only sometimes gets thru

Working with SIM7022 NB-IoT modem. In the screenshot below data is send which is OKed by the modem.
