      Quick question: is it possible that a NB-IoT device connects directly to a public IP address?

      Thnx

          @MarcoPeli thanks for the feedback.

          So replacing the APN “cdp.iot.t-mobile.nl” with “m2m.public.nl” should do the trick?

              What Marco said is true - but here is an important information: This is only allowed for testing purposes not for productive use-cases. Also the same limitation about max. messages and data usage (as described in the no harm to network guidelines) still apply.

                Hi @Florian-Duecker, is there any reason for this limitation?
                We are setting up a pilot project using this APN and I hope the APN will last to exist 🙂

                  @Lauwie007

                  1. There are legal limitations imposed on us what we can commercially offer - but that might change in the future. However, then we also probably need to change the commercial offering of the public APN, because it’s basically raw connectivity what you would source from us.

                  2. As said the public APN is for TESTING ONLY. We are not planning on closing it down any time soon, but maybe we might at one point. So we cannot guarantee a continuity of this APN forever. Most likely it would change if we can commercially offer it at one point! Maybe it make sense if we have a quick call about it so I understand your requirements a bit better.
